Woven meshes are made on shuttle and shuttleless machines from annealed wire of ordinary quality ( GOST 3282-74 ) of thin diameters, galvanized and not galvanized, from high-alloy steel grades 12X18H9T, 12X18H10T, 12X18H9, 08X18H10, brass and nichrome wire.
As a rule, they meet the following standards:

If the designation of the grid: Grid P2-04-02 N / Zh 1000mm,
then this means that you will buy a plain weave mesh with a square mesh of 0.4 mm, from stainless wire with a diameter of 0.2 mm and a roll height of 1 m.
Woven nets are supplied in rolls with a height of 1000-1300 mm, in a roll about 30 m.
Application of Mesh Woven
For plastering, a woven mesh with a cell of 8-12 mm and a diameter of 0.6-1.2 mm is used. Most often, a 12x1 woven mesh is used for plastering.
Previously, instead of a woven mesh 12x1, a woven mesh with a cell of 12 mm and Ø 1.2 mm was used. It is more suitable for plastering work. Indeed, in the process of drying the plaster layer, moisture and oxygen act on the metal wire and it can begin to corrode. Therefore, Ø 1.2 mm will be stronger for the plaster layer. But in order to reduce the price, builders began to buy 12x1 woven mesh.

According to GOST 3826-82, the permissible deviation for the arithmetic mean size of the cell side in the clear is 9%, the maximum permissible deviation from the nominal for the size of a separately enlarged cell in the clear is 40%.
The web width tolerance is ± 1%.
The weave of warp and weft must be correct. There shouldn't be a pass. Woven nets should not have mechanical damage, kinks, torn and sewn places. In woven meshes, splicing of the ends of the wire, a kink at the beginning of a piece of mesh, weaving defects in the form of checkmarks, loops, twists in the amount of no more than two per 1 sq.m. grids.
Woven nets are made with and without edges. In the manufacture of woven mesh without a border, the ends of the weft wire must be cut evenly or bent to prevent the extreme warp wires from falling out.
It has tolerances for diameter, cell size, roll dimensions. Therefore, the actual weight will differ from the theoretical weight of the woven mesh .
Packing and shipping of mesh woven
The mesh in the roll must be tied with annealed wire along the edges and in the middle of the roll. Woven mesh with cells from 0.4 to 1 mm should be packed in paper and on top of the paper with a polyethylene film (packing fabric). Woven mesh with a mesh size of 1.1 to 20 mm is supplied without packaging and is packaged at the request of the buyer for an extra charge.
