Geofabric

Geogrid
The structure is made of 1.5 mm thick polyethylene tapes fastened together in the form of honeycombs.
When installed in the working position, it forms a stable frame, which is filled with sand, earth, stones, depending on the purpose and conditions of use. The polyethylene from which the geogrid is made is neutral to aggressive environments, non-toxic, UV resistant, oil-alkali resistant, fresh and salt water resistant, which retains its characteristics over many years of operation.

Application of geotextile

The geofabric separates the layers and redistributes the stress in the base of the embankment, increases the bearing capacity of the base, the stability of the slopes, and improves the conditions for compacting the subgrade. Also, in this application of geofabric, reinforcement is performed when designing embankments with high humidity. Replacing sand drainage with geotextiles reduces sand consumption, increases construction rates, and reduces labor intensity.
The geofabric prevents mixing of bulk material and soil, reduces the deformation of the road surface, provides drainage, slope reinforcement, filtration, protection of underground waterproofing from mechanical damage, unloading of load-bearing structures . The geotextile forms a protective and drainage layer between the rock and the waterproofing. Protects waterproofing from damage by rough concrete surfaces and sharp aggregates. Soil, crushed stone and concrete with a frost resistance of at least M200 are used as a cell filler.
The main advantage of the geogrid technology is the ability of the filler material to contain slopes of such a steepness that this material does not hold itself on the slope.
