The name of the twisted mesh (hexagonal, hexagonal, Manyer , eng. Hexagonal Wire Mesh, Hexagonal Wire Netting), which you can buy at the PE Metizy-94 at the price of a direct importer, comes from the shape of the cells and from the production method (by variable twisting of each wire with one from nearby).
Low-carbon wire is used for production (you can buy it from us) .
Twisting of cells as unary and double.
We sell Chinese-made Manye mesh.
Only gabion mesh is produced in Ukraine.
The cell size of the twisted mesh with hexagonal Magnier cells is from 10 to 100 mm (the cell size is the shortest distance between the twists);
Magnier mesh is woven from low-carbon heat-treated wire (not galvanized, galvanized, polymer-coated) with a diameter of 0.9 to 2.3 mm.
We have all types of mesh manyer in stock. Warehouse in Zaporozhye on Teplichnaya street, 5b.
Here you can see a photo of the twisted mesh we have in stock in full size with a ruler.
Metizy-94 imports the largest number of twisted nets to Ukraine.
Twisted mesh applications
The main difference between the manyier mesh and other steel wire meshes is that even if one cell is damaged, the canvas remains intact.
This property is very important in the production of gabions and Reno mattresses. After all, if you make gabions from the Rabitz mesh, then when one wire breaks, the gabion is torn apart like a stocking and the stones spill out.
For builders, the property of this grid is important not to change the geometry of the cell in the set solution. The design of the manyier mesh ensures uniform distribution of loads in the plaster layer. As the temperature increases and decreases, the cell size changes along with the temperature changes in the layer. Only manyier mesh and woven mesh have this property.
For example, if the facade of a building is reinforced with a welded or expanded mesh, then when heated (cooled), all wires lengthen (shorten) by the same distance, and the cell size increases accordingly. It's in the plaster layer!!!
An enlarged cell destroys the plaster layer , freeing up space for itself and, with little adhesion to the base, the plaster can break off. In a twisted grid, cells do not change their size. All changes occur in the twisted knot. It compensates for all extensions. In addition, the wire in the manye mesh forms cells at an angle of 120 degrees, like a honeycomb. This helps to evenly distribute loads and reduce cracking. Therefore, if you want to have more reliable reinforcement, then you should only buy a plaster mesh with hexagonal cells.
The ability to envelop curved walls and round columns has led to the fact that twisted mesh is used for plastering columns and curved surfaces.
When fencing gardens, hares and other animals make tunnels.
A roll of twisted mesh is cut into three parts (rolls of 33 cm are obtained and are dug into the ground along the perimeter of the fence at an angle to the outer part.
The twisted hexagonal mesh became famous in Australia. There they made the so-called Dog Fence from it, 8500 km long, which crosses almost all of Australia, protecting sheep Dingos from wild dogs, and pastures from the invasion of rabbits.
Constant patrolling, repair of the manye net and elimination of undermining
cost the Government of Canada about A$15 million annually.
To protect against rockfalls, twisted meshes of double torsion are used, precisely due to the ability to maintain the integrity of the mesh web when individual wires break.
Manyer mesh for glass reinforcement
A wire diameter of 0.6 - 0.8 mm with a mesh size of 12 to 25 mm is used to reinforce window panes, which are used in industry in the so-called "lanterns" on the roof of buildings and for glazing doors in public places or where glass is needed, but it can be broken and injured.
Glass reinforced with manyni mesh, when broken, will not crumble into small pieces.
This greatly increases security.
Magnier mesh for thermal insulation works
Pipes with basalt mats are wrapped with a heat-insulating mesh and then covered with a layer of plaster. It is used for flashing heat-insulating mats. Basically, for these purposes, they buy a twisted mesh 25x0.6 (cell width 25 mm, wire diameter 0.6 mm) or 20x0.5.
Widely used for flashing thermal insulation mats.
When the roof overlap is insulated with a layer of glass wool, it is also recommended to fix a mesh for thermal insulation on top of it and then make a cement screed.
The hexagonal mesh for thermal insulation is good because the cement layer perfectly adheres to it. Everyone knows that plaster and metal expand at different rates. In the case of a twisted mesh, there is no stress in the plaster layer, because the temperature elongation-compression of the wire compensates for the place of twisting.
Magnier grid for circuits
It is used as the top electrode for powering electric vehicles. Children's car electrodes glide easily over a smooth hexagonal grid.
Basically, a galvanized twisted mesh 40x1.4 is suitable for these purposes, but they also bought 20x0.6.
Twisted mesh for gabions
It is used in landscape construction, protection against rockfalls, in strengthening slopes and river banks, in the production of gabions. Here you can buy both twisted mesh for gabions and gabions themselves. Gabion mattresses are made from our twisted mesh to strengthen slopes
Twisted mesh for aviaries
Aviaries for birds and animals are made from manye mesh,
fences for agricultural facilities, cages for growing chickens.
In zoos, entire territories are covered with mani net, where birds can fly freely.
Cages for chickens and quails
Quails are small birds and do not need a strong fence. Soft twisted mesh is more suitable for making cages for quails than others.
Most often, a 16x0.7 cell is bought for this.
For the same purpose, a similar grid is used for raising chickens, breeding chickens. They buy for chicken coops and quail breeding both galvanized twisted mesh and polymer-coated.
Twisted mesh for plaster work
Twisted hexagon mesh has specific properties:
- First, the hexagonal cell allows less metal to be applied to the plaster.
- Secondly, the plaster layer and metal have different thermal coefficient of linear expansion. Therefore, under the condition of large temperature differences, a twisted mesh that does not have a rigid cell is more suitable for plastering work than a mesh with a rigid cell, for example, welded or expanded metal.
According to its physical and mechanical properties, hexagonal twisted mesh is ideal for reinforcement in construction. The hexagonal shape of the cell prevents the occurrence of internal stresses. Due to its flexibility, it is convenient for mounting on curved and angular surfaces. Due to the specific manufacturing, there is no damage to the zinc coating, and this is the absence of corrosion in the wet plaster layer.
Twisted mesh for reinforcement
It is advisable to buy a hexagonal mesh for leveling floors (reinforcement of the screed), for facing tiles, for facade work (made of galvanized wire). Twisted mesh is often used for brickwork, as it can take the form of an uneven surface, and as a result, the quality of the brickwork increases. This is especially important when bricking furnaces and boilers.
Reed roofing mesh
Galvanized twisted mesh 20x09, 25x1.2 and 16x0.7 is used for the construction of a roof made of straw and reeds.
After mounting the roof on its ridge, birds love to build nests and thereby destroy the roof itself.
Twisted mesh for wads
In order for ornamental plants to easily take root after transplantation, they need to be dug out with a clod of earth.
A clod of earth is wrapped with a twisted net. The tree is planted together with the manynet net, after which it rots in the moist environment of the earth.

Twisted mesh for frames of garden sculptures and figures
In garden art, you can see bushes in the form of animals, people. The frames for these figures are made of wire, then with the help of a twisted mesh they are shaped into the desired sculpture and a fast-growing evergreen plant is launched inside, as soon as the plant begins to grow beyond the form, it is cut. The result is an exclusive decoration for the garden.
Garden and park sculptures made of hexagon mesh look unusually impressive. Below you can see photos of works of art made by our regular customers for landscape design. It's hard to believe, but these animal figures are woven from galvanized twisted mesh with hexagonal cells 13 mm in size, with a wire diameter of 0.8 mm.
The Magnier net is used to make baskets that cover the crop, saving it from voracious birds.
Also, some buyers make original products from manyer mesh. For example, these are:

Twisted mesh notation
n / a - made from low-carbon wire without galvanizing;
ots - made of galvanized wire;
PVC - made from polymer-coated wire.
Twisted mesh can be bought at a price that includes delivery to your company in Ukraine.
