Nitric acid destroys the zinc coating. Therefore, zinc is destroyed faster in cells than in air.

The experience lasted 365 days. A welded mesh of galvanized wire (50 gm/2) and a welded galvanized Kazachka (130 g/m2) were compared in 1 tsp saline solution. to a glass of water. For the purity of the experience, we protected the ends of the wire from corrosion to see how long the zinc coating will last.
The galvanized mesh (50 g/m2) began to rust after 6.5 months. On the galvanized mesh (130 g/m2) after 365 days there is not even a hint of rust.
In order to increase the service life of cages for animals and poultry, we began to import welded meshes with increased corrosion protection .
