This article provides a list of the cheapest fences. Depending on the desired appearance and place of use, the most advantageous options for fences were selected and compared with analogues. The list is given as price increases, protective functions and aesthetic appearance. Prices are as of the end of October 2021. However, even if prices change, the ratio in the cost of materials will change proportionally and this analytics will be relevant. To calculate the price per linear meter, wholesale prices for materials for a fence length of more than three hundred meters were used. The price for a smaller quantity can be up to ten percent higher. However, the price ratio will remain the same, and the comparative analysis will be relevant.
The cheapest type of fence is a barbed wire fence. 
For one linear meter of a cheap barbed wire fence 1.5 m high, you need to spend up to 6 meters of barbed wire.
The cost of 1 running meter of barbed wire is about UAH 8.77.
The cost of one cheap concrete pole for a fence 2.2 m high can be 167 UAH. Fence posts can be set every 4 meters or less.
For 100 linear meters of a barbed fence, you will need 100/4+1=26 poles (about 4342 UAH), 600 meters of wire (5262 UAH).
The cost of materials for the installation of a barbed fence with a height of 1.5 m per 1 running meter:
(5262+4342)/100= 96.04 UAH/rm.
The cost of a budget fence can be reduced by purchasing cheaper posts and installing them at a greater distance. Another way to make a barbed fence cheaper is to reduce the number of rods. If you make a similar fence from ordinary wire, it will be even cheaper. If the fence is temporary, then it can be made from non-galvanized materials.

A barbed wire fence can hardly be called a fence in the full sense of the word. Therefore, by right, the most budgetary fence is the Kazachka lightweight fence and its analogues.
For 100 meters of lightweight Cossack fence, you need 2 rolls of lightweight mesh, 1.5 m high, size 150/15/15, made of wire dm.2mm, costing 58.68 UAH/linear meter (5868 UAH).
At intervals of 4 meters, you can install cheap but durable metal poles Cossack . Such pillars need 100/4+1=26 pillars (5728.32 UAH).
The cost of materials for mounting a cheap lightweight Cossack fence, 1.5 m high, 2 mm wire diameter per 1 running meter:
(5868+5728.32)/100= 115.96 UAH/linear m.
A lightweight Cossack mesh fence can be made even cheaper if you take a mesh made of dm wire. 1.6mm. In this case, the cost of a linear mesh meter is 39.24 hryvnia.

Until the lightweight Kazachka mesh appeared, it was considered the cheapest fence - a fence from Rabitsa .
To install a 100 m one and a half meter fence from Rabitsa with a cell of 50 mm, made of galvanized wire 2.0 mm, you will need cheap metal poles for Kazachka fences every 2 m in the amount of 51 pieces, which at a cost of 220.32 UAH will be 11236.32 UAH. 150 square meters of galvanized chain-link 50x2.0 (at a price of 44.52 UAH / m2, this will amount to 6678 UAH).
The cost of materials for the installation of a cheap fence from the Chain-link 50x2mm 1.5 m high, based on 1 running meter:
(6678 + 11236.32) / 100 = 179.14 UAH / linear meter
In order to make a fence even cheaper from the Chain-link, they usually buy a Chain-link from a thinner wire with a diameter of 1.6 mm. So you can reduce the price of the fence from Rabitsa by 29.10 UAH per linear meter.
But having saved, the buyer receives a non-durable fence, which is easily deformed, loses its aesthetic appearance and does not protect at all from uninvited guests. Even a dog behind such a fence is dangerous to keep, because she can easily tear it. And if at least one wire from the weaving of the chain-link breaks, the fence unfurls like a sweater.
For forestry and hunting farms, aviaries, rural farms, where aggressive strong animals need to be kept, the Nozelfix net is used. It is made of a more durable material and a different weaving method, and can even stop a car .
For 100 meters of fence, 2 rolls of Uzelfix® mesh 1.5 m high will be required, costing 147.06 UAH/linear meter (14706 UAH). At intervals of 6 meters, you can install metal poles of the Cossack, 2m high. Such pillars need 100/6+1=18 pillars (UAH 3965.76).
The cost of materials for the installation of a strong fence made of Uzelfix® mesh with a height of 1.5 m dm. wire 2.5mm per 1 running meter:
(14706+3965.76)/100= 186.72 UAH/rm
This type of fence is the best alternative to a galvanized chain-link fence made of 3.0mm thick wire with a 50mm cell.
To install a 100 m one and a half meter fence from the Rabitsa, metal poles of the Cossack will be required every 2.0 m in the amount of 51 pieces, which at a cost of 11236.32 UAH. 150 square meters Galvanized chain-link 50x3.0 (at a price of 93.48 UAH / m2, this will amount to 14022 UAH).
The cost of materials for mounting a cheap chain-link fence 50x3mm, 1.5m high, per 1 running meter:
(11236.32 + 114022) / 100 = 252.58 UAH / linear meter
Until recently, only TM Betafence was represented on the Ukrainian market of sectional fences - a line of expensive fences of European quality with a 10-year guarantee for coverage. The price of TM Betafence fences was high, because there were no other sectional fences in Ukraine.
But the Ukrainian consumer does not always need super quality at high prices. Our customer is practical and used to counting money. A cheap sectional fence was not present on the market. Therefore, PE Metizy-94 used the market demand and began to produce cheap sectional fences TM Kazachka .
It would be wrong to produce fences similar to existing fences, so our company has chosen not super-design with high prices, but the durability of the product as a basis. We started coating our fences with a thick layer of zinc - 70-130 microns, at a time when well-known manufacturers barely reach 45 microns.
Fences Cossack to and panel are made in Zaporozhye and its outskirts, where the wire is produced - the main raw material for their production. Galvanizing and coating with polymer paint also takes place in Zaporozhye.
Sectional fences TM Kazachka are cheaper than imported fences and cheaper than many fences produced in Ukraine. Sectional fences TM Kazachka are leaders in the thickness of zinc on their surface among similar fences. For this reason, the number of sales of cheap fences is doubling every year.
But the cost of this fence is significantly higher than other similar fences.
For 100 running meters of fence you need:
40 galvanized, then coated with polymer paint panels 1.5 * 2.5 m at a price of 771 UAH per panel (30840 UAH);
41 posts for a fence with a similar coating with a set of fasteners at a price of UAH 206.50 (UAH 8466.50).
The cost of materials for mounting a cheap fence with a height of 1.5 m per 1 running meter:
(30840+8466.50)/100= 393.065 UAH/linear m.
A sectional fence can be reduced in price if you abandon the polymer coating, leaving galvanizing, by 15%.
