Application of Woven Stainless Mesh
Woven stainless steel mesh is used in various sectors of the economy
- for screening bulk materials;
- for filters, filtration of gases and liquids;
- for size separation of crushed materials;
- for oil production (filtration of clay solutions);
- for the creation of protection systems against fragments during explosions in crowded places;
- Stainless woven mesh with a mesh size of not more than 0.6 mm is used for shielding rooms, in particular, for shielding server rooms (rooms with limited access where information servers are located)
Stainless woven meshes of the 1st accuracy group are used to ensure an accurate granulometric composition of materials that are screened, or for screening bulk materials, the 2nd accuracy group for air purification, screening of bulk materials, the production of filters, sieves, separators, fences, etc.
Quality Woven Stainless Mesh
In accordance with GOST, a woven stainless mesh should not have wire gaps, a woven mesh with square cells should not have mechanical damage, kinks, torn and sewn places. It is allowed to splice the ends of the wire, kink at the beginning of a piece of stainless mesh, weaving defects in the form of checkmarks, loops, twists in the amount of not more than two per 1 m 2 of the mesh, changing the correct shape of the cells for stainless meshes of group 2 of all numbers and group 1 of meshes from with a cell from 0.4 to 4.5 mm and not more than one per 1 m 2 for meshes of group 1 from 5 to 20 mm.
Woven nets with square cells are made with and without edges. In the manufacture of stainless mesh without a border, the ends of the weft wire must be cut evenly or bent to prevent the extreme warp wires from falling out.
Stainless Woven Mesh Packing
Grids woven corrosion -proof are delivered in rolls. In one roll, up to 5 pieces of woven mesh with square cells are allowed. PE Metizy-94 also has the ability to supply individual pieces of stainless mesh.
Rolls of woven mesh with square cells are tied with heat-treated wire in the middle and along the edges, with a wire diameter of 0.4-1.0 mm, packed in paper, and then in a polymer film.
