In some cases, chain slings are indispensable, although they have several disadvantages. The main area of application is "hot" production, where it is not possible to use rope or textile slings . Chain slings are made of grade 8 alloy steel and are the most durable type of sling . Chain slings can be used at temperatures up to 300C, and if the passport load is reduced, then at temperatures above 500C.
