Soft wire annealed heat treated

The wire becomes soft after heat treatment. Therefore, it is called annealed .
Ordinary low-carbon wire according to GOST 3282-74 undergoes an additional annealing process in furnaces, where carbon burns out of it. Due to the fact that the production uses an additional energy-intensive process, the price of soft wire is slightly higher than that of conventional wire.

You can buy from one skein. One coil of soft wire weighs from 60 to 140 kg.

We have been selling soft wire since 1997 . Galvanized wire is also available. We deliver to any city or village in Ukraine. We use a hired transport or the transport company Nova Poshta, etc. This is done by a full-time logistician who monitors the safe delivery of soft wire.

Properties of heat treated wire

Soft wire comes in black and light colors. These are different heat treatment processes.
The so-called black and bright annealing.
Black annealed is an uncoated soft wire that is almost black in color.
Bright annealing is done in special gases, so it will be more expensive. But the wire will have a light shade, just like normal wire.
Wire diameter available:

• Soft wire without coating 0.4 - 6 mm
• Galvanized soft wire 0.8 - 5 mm

Tensile strength of annealed wire 290 - 490 N/mm ² , annealed galvanized wire 340 - 540 N/mm ²

Protective coating on soft annealed wire

According to GOST 3282-74 , heat-treated soft wire can be coated with zinc. This wire is called "Galvanized annealed wire ".
