Corrugated canned mesh fence and corner

Fences made of corrugated (caniled) mesh are directly a mesh fabric welded into a frame from a corner or pipe. The frame is attached to the pillars by welding or bolting.

In the USSR, this type of fence was very popular and was used to fence schools and kindergartens. Decades have passed, and the canned mesh still encloses schools and some budgetary organizations.
A canned mesh fence is a fabric of interlaced curved rods welded into a steel corner.

Diameter 4 - 6 mm.
For the fence frame, a corner or a profile pipe is used.
Canned mesh is supplied uncoated, galvanized and polymer coated.

Features of installing a corrugated mesh fence

For the installation of a corrugated mesh, metal poles are used, preferably thick-walled, because. the section itself will be welded to them. For sectional railings, there is no need to install reinforced corner posts, because there is no tension and side loads. Corrugated mesh is painted after all welding work.

Pros and cons of this type of fences

+ Positive aspects:

• The fence is very strong . Even when large trees fall on it or a car drives in, the fence bends but does not break.
• The fence is durable. Everyone can be convinced of this by looking at the fence of a neighboring school or kindergarten. These fences are over 20 years old and will last the same amount of time.
• The canned mesh fence is a transparent design. The area will be well ventilated.
• If the fence is made of canned galvanized or polymer-coated mesh, it does not need to be painted.

- Negative sides:

• If the fence is made of uncoated canned mesh, then it must be periodically cleaned of old paint and new paint applied.
• The mesh attracts the attention of scrap hunters as it it has a lot of metal in it.
• Difficult to manufacture. It is necessary to weld the mesh into the corner, then weld the section to the posts.
